We believe the Bible (both Old and New Testaments) in its entirety, to be the inspired Word of God. It was revealed from God to man. It is infallible, authoritative, and is our final authority in all matters pertaining to doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
(2 Tim. 3:16-17)
We believe in one eternal God expressed in three separate Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
God is the Creator of all things, both visible and invisible.
(1 John 5:7, Ephesians 4:6, Deut. 6:4, 2 Cor. 13:14)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man. Jesus alone accomplished all that is necessary for man’s salvation.
(John 1:14, 6:69, 14:6; Isaiah 7:14; 2 Cor. 5:21; Ephesians 1:7)
We believe that man was created in God’s image. Through Adam’s transgression, sin came upon all who were born of Adam’s seed. The penalty for sin is death – that is, eternal separation from God – unless one repents and accepts Jesus as his Savior.
(Genesis 1:26; Romans 5:12, 3:23, 6:23)
We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ. This is accomplished by believing Jesus is your Savior and confessing with your mouth Jesus as Lord. This results in Eternal Life, being re-united with God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
(Rom. 3:23, 6:23, 10:8-10; Eph. 2:8; Titus 3:5)
The Second Coming and the Resurrection:
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus and that those who believe in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body.
(John 14:3; 1 Thes. 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58)
The Final Judgment:
Those who do not believe in Jesus as their Savior will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment in Hell.
(Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:11-15, 21:1-8)
We believe that the universal church is comprised of all true, born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation. (Eph. 1:22–23; Acts 2:47; 1 Cor. 1:2; Colossians 1:18).
Baptism in the Holy Spirit:
We believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work He started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life and continue in all the works of Jesus. Believers can and should be filled with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in other tongues.
(Acts 1:8, 2:4, 2:17, 10:44-46, 11:15-16)
Gifts of the Holy Spirit:
We believe that spiritual gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit are active today. The gifts are to be used to build up and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel.
(1 Corinthians 12:4, 12:7)
We believe that divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, is the right and privilege of every believer, and was provided for the church in the Atonement.
(Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24, Mark 16:17-18)
Sharing the Gospel:
We believe all born-again believers have been commissioned by Jesus to share the whole Gospel to all the world.
